NEW LESSONS: Inspecting The Jewels & Pivot Holes

This new video lesson focuses on the extremely important task of inspecting the jewels and pivot holes in your watch movement for any damage or wear that may cause issues with the performance of the timepiece.

With our Unitas 6497 movement we find that there are 17 jewels to inspect and we go through all of them. We discuss some of the potential issues such as loose jewels or dried/caked on dirt.

This lesson forms part of section 2 of Level 2 in our watch repair course and is available now to watch by those who have sponsored the development of the course via Patreon or becoming a subscriber of Watch Repair Talk.
