on Level 5: Servicing Chronograph Watches

A Well Deserved Thank You for Mark Lovic

I can’t believe it will be four years ago this July that I enrolled in Mark’s Level 1 watch repair course. I just finished the Level 5 chronograph repair course. My father had just died and left me a small collection of broken watches. I wanted something to remember him by that I could carry with me but I didn’t have a clue how to get them fixed. I found Mark on Youtube and immediately appreciated his calm and friendly demeanor. A few videos later, I was hooked on wanting to know how to fix my dad’s watch myself. I was greatly encouraged by Mark’s skills in watchmaking, videography, and natural skill as a teacher. For four years now he hasn’t let me down once. I repaired my dad’s watch and many others thanks to the watchFix.com video lessons. Looking back, this should never have been possible. I was 61 years old when I started and had the shakiest hands in the southeastern US. I wanted to quit at times. I was sure I’d never be able to install a click-spring on an ETA 2824 (Hell, I still struggle with those damn tiny things!). Thanks, Mark for helping me through to the end. What a massive work you have now stored up with these marvelous lessons. God Bless.
