I have always been interested in mechanical watches, but never thought that I could either dive into it’s mechanics in detail or could obtain the courage to strip and reassemble a complete watch. I’m so happy to find you! Only completed the first course, but already learnt reeeally much from these very well created video lessons. Congratulations for your work, much appreciated, it well worths to invest. Can’t wait to start the 2nd course and the ordered tools and equipments that are already on the way. 🙂 Could not found an ETA 6497 compatible caliber around, so I will use one of my earlier watches i don’t use too much, it is a russian watch made by ZIM, and it utilizes their 2602 movement. Looks similar to the 6497 as far as I can judge so I hope it won’t be problem. I rather consider it as a challenge! 🙂
