on Level 1: Getting Started

Great for just beginning

As the title says. An excellent resource and training guide for those brand new who haven’t ever taken a movement apart. I think more emphasis should be given that it is essential to learn the names of the parts prior to beginning or just after. I was already prepared but for someone who has only watched Youtube this level could be daunting at first. For someone who’s already familiar and has studied schematics it’s not too tough. Great course!

Admin Response

Thank you so much for your kind words. I would like to stress that lesson c1.5.6 "Identifying Watch Parts" goes into full detail on all the most common watch parts including macro video shots of each individual component, all broken down into the various sections of the watch movement. This video can be reviewed as many times as is needed. I hope this information helps.
