Hamilton Khaki Aviation ETA 2895-2 watch movement Repair

Here we are stripping a Hamilton Khaki Aviation with an ETA 2895-2 watch movement. The dial feet were broken which caused the dial to slide across and bend the seconds wheel pivot. This wheel needed to be replaced.

The auto bearing (ballrace) was also very worn and was replaced.

This movement has an unusual escape wheel with an upper and lower pinion.

The lower pinion drives a secondary train of wheels under the dial which provides the off-centre seconds function.

I must apologise that I neglected to take a picture of the finished watch before sending it back to the client.
